DIA Board of Directors - Nominations

DIA - Get Involved

The DIA Board of Directors Board is elected by the DIA membership and has responsibility for setting DIA's strategic direction, providing fiscal oversight, enhancing DIA's public standing, and strengthening DIA's programs and services.  Board members are asked to meet quarterly at face-to-face, two-day, Board meetings and attend the Annual Meeting and the EuroMeeting as part of their Board service. 

DIA reaches out to its members to solicit nominations for this prestigious opportunity by issuing a Call for Board Nominations.  Care is taken to align the representation on the Board with DIA’s membership and to assure that the areas of expertise, skill sets, and regional experience required for Board service are met.  The Governance and Leadership Committee of the Board of Directors is led by the Past President and reviews the nominations.  The final slate is approved by the Board in December and put forward in March to the DIA membership for their vote per the DIA bylaws.  A list of Past Presidents of the DIA Board of Directors is available for review.
